California's Proposition 8?

I wish I could have voted for it. But in answer to your point to barrygoldwater, you already enjoy the same rights with the California civil unions. You want the word marriage. You cant have it. You liberals call marriage a religious institution and yet sic the ACLU on any religious incursion whatsoever on public soil. Now you want to use that same public soil to trod on what you define as a religious institution of marriage? The people voted - you cant have it. You already have everything but the name. Accept it and dont be so divisive.
