Is it racist for Democrat Obama & his party to specifically tax a product almost exclusively used by whites?

Why is tanning specifically taxed? What would people say if there were targeted taxes on Jheri Curl/Hair Relaxant, Kosher products, Kim Chi, tampons Zahala meats or any other product predominately used by one specific group based on race, skin color, national origin or gender?
