14 and addicted to pacifiers, help?

My name is Allison. I am a 14 year old girl, I have never quit using a pacifier my whole life, but my boyfriend is threatening to dump me if I don't quit, but I really can't. I've tried, but my whole life a pacifier is all I know. What do I do? Pleae don't laugh at me, make fun of me, or any of that. That happens to me all the time. I am athletic and pretty, I just have a problem. Please help me.
