Removing the Ser virus for a dummy?

Ahh i remember the ser worm if im not mistaken the reason why it reboots over and over is not because it was programmed that way but when you get infected it tries to reinfect your pc at boot time and since it is already infect it causes one of windows vital programs to crash and forces you to reboot. The only way to fix this would be in safe mode. Good luck.
